Any more details on these? Is this an "as cast" head? Cnc'd? Any cross section numbers? These look like they'll fit right into a project I'm getting ready to start.
Thanks,
shawn

All Darin told me way they are being put on the fast track to get ready for release. They will be CNC heads. Maybe Darin will chime in on particulars..

I was trying to come up with a little better conventional head than what we currently have. It ended up being better than I ever hoped for. I used one of my Texas Pro Stock heads that I did for Joe Pigford as sort of a basis. He sent them in to be freshened up just in time for me to use them as a template. Our 365cc and 385cc heads where exceptional four years ago but time stands still for no one especially me. Last week we decided that our heads needed updated so I put everything on the back burner and went full bore for six days to come up with a better mouse trap. I went through three heads before I came up with two ports that fit the bill perfectly. I trashed a lot of casting before I settled on these two ports and this one exhaust port. I have a 365cc port done (it flows about the same) as well but we will come out with this one first as it fits the most engine combination's. This is a STOCK replacement meaning that all off the shelf conventional components will work. As a matter of fact most will be abale to take there heads off and put these on with minimal effort. Everything is the same as our 385cc heads except the port and chamber designs.

(1) Stock port height of .485-.490 off deck.
(2) Stock valve train either stud mounted or Jesel /T&D bolt on.
(3) All conventional manifolds will bolt right up.
(4) 2.350 1.850 or 1.880 valve in standard conventional location
(5) No need for custom pistons.
(6) Your push rods may not need replaced.

I hope you didn't copy them too closely to pig's stuff, or there will become a bunch of super comp dragsters flipping over backwards Laughing

Your kidding of course. Pigs heads flow anouther 35+cfm at .800 lift and have optimized valve locations so expect these ehads will be 80hp behing Pigs heads but $8k less expensive! LOL Rolling Eyes

Oval ports only function "perfectly" in a conventional head when the port volume is under 320cc and the valve OD is 2.300 or smaller. Once you get into the 350-360cc or higher range you must go to a more square type port in order to get the air speed correct. learned this over a decade of messing with them. In my personal opinion, others use the "oval" as a gimmick when the square would actually function better. I have no high power conventional head that are oval port including Joe Pigfords TPSA heads that flow 500cfm+.
