|
|
We were building a customers engine...and I convinced the customer to try a set of 210 Pro-Filers. This is the first set I've had the chance to do some dyno testing with. The plan is to make a 550-560 hp pump gas 400.
engine specs block #817 400
4.165 bore X 3.75
RaceTec flat top Pistons 1.5mm 1.5mm(napier 2nd) 3mm ring package
Rpm Crank and H beam rods
Custom Isky HYD roller
248 @.50 intake and EXH 108 LSA 104 ICL
.373 lobe 1.6 intake rockers 1.5 exh.
Fully Ported Professional Products hurricane Single Plane
& 950 HP holley carb
I thought this type of street strip combo would really show what these heads are capable of.
After Some clean up work on the heads (Blow blend and gasket match) I think the engine will make 570hp plus!
flow numbers on a Profiler 210 AS CAST (no cnc porting) with a valve job and gasket match
tested a 28" with a 4.155 bore fixture
Intake 2.08 valve
.100 74 cfm
.200 135 cfm
.300 197 cfm
.400 243 cfm
.500 282 cfm

.700 295 cfm
.800 299 cfm
Exhaust 1.60 valve test with a 1-3/4 pipe 3" long

There is a player in the SBC cylinder head department. Pro-Filer!
Nice looking build!
PS. Always wanted to ask, do you build dominators? _________________ Speier Racing Heads

Very nice results! I would love to be at the pump with that engine in my car after a few blasts down the strip, watching everyone ride bye... |

Do you have the correction factors used on that pull and what were the weather conditions?
What is the Inertia factor and how does it effect the dyno data?
Is the vacuum data accurate? It seem really low for that size carb.
Have you looked into why the AFR readings were off from one side to the other? _________________ Bill Simpkins
